The minister is a founder member of Keith Community Radio in 1997. She broadcasts a monthly programme on the second Tuesday of the month called “Hae the kettle on the bile!” Although she resigned as Religious Co-ordinator of the radio on moving to Insch, she continues to contribute to “Revving up on Mondays”, a weekly broadcast at 7pm.

Margaret joined Insch church in January 1969, at the young age of 27. She was a Guild member and very soon became involved in the Junior Sunday School.
Margaret and her husband John ran the Youth Fellowship in their home. In 1974 they moved to Auchleven and joined Premnay Church. Margaret helped to run the Sunday School with the late Mrs Marjorie Thomson, the wife of Leslie elder Mr William Thomson. Margaret served at least two periods as Guild President at Premnay.
After the Union with Insch in 1984, she eventually became Sunday School Superintendent and had another two periods as Guild President. She remained a committee member until a few years ago. Margaret was ordained as an elder in the late 80's. She joined the Insch Church choir.
About ten years ago Margaret took over the post of Flower Convenor from Miss Edith Downie. After her retiral from the post of Head Teacher at Premnay Primary, Margaret joined the Sunday School rota of helpers. She also became responsible for Child protection until the early 90s.
Margaret, in her spare time (!) completed the TLS course (Teaching, Learning and Serving) run by St Colm's College, Edinburgh, under the local guidance of Mrs M. MacDonald, Maryhill. It was an experience which Margaret found memorable and worthwhile.
Frances became the Church organist in 2000 and is well known in the area for playing Scottish Music and reciting Doric poems. Frances also organises, with friends, an annual Old Time Dance with the proceeds going to a different charity each year. In 2016 the church spire fund benefitted from the dance by almost £2,000. Frances is pictured with her husband Bill.

Anne has been an elder for thirty years; she has been actively involved with Christian Aid for as long as she can remember, and is still serving on the committee having stepped down as Convenor last year . She has organised the door to door collections in Insch for at least seventeen years and perhaps more! (Margaret Mack has organised the collection in Premnay for many years.)
As Christian Aid had a drop of one and a half million in donations last year, she is hoping that this year people will open their hearts and donate to Christian Aid which helps millions of refugees and poor people all over the world. If every household in our parish gave a couple of pounds, this would make a huge difference to many lives.
We can only hope and pray that people will respond and love their neighbour through the work of Christian Aid.
